I want to study General science to start in a community college. Wonder if anyone knows if...?
If I am transferring from a different college to another is it acceptable to have first semester of industrial engineering from a different country to enroll to general science in USA.

Depends on which country you are transferring from, and usually college only accept credits which they have the equivalent courses. So let say you took a course call "industrial engineering 101", but the community college does not have the equivalent course, then you don't get the credit credit transfer.
It is totally fine to transfer from college and changes major, many people are just exploring their interests.
