Are the people that deny global warming the same ones that support discrimination in the name of religion?

更新:

The reason I asked this question was to see how many deniers agree with tacit government approval of discrimination cloaked under the guise of "religious freedom".

No, unless their extreme fundamentalists then yes.

Many Catholics agree with the science of global warming and the Pope considers it to be bad.

Sometimes they are the same people. Conservatives (who almost always deny global warming) are as a whole religious and old. They also are far less accepting of science than other demographics. However, just because you support discrimination doesn't mean you also deny global warming.

The religious fundies cant even comprehend that the earth is more than 6000 years old, let alone human rights. Global warming is about how humans are changing the earth, yet they believe its something they think only god can do.

    Correlation doesn't equal causation.

Not me. I defend religious freedom too (imagine that) , and I believe global warming is real.

I can see no connection between global warming and religous discrimination.

I honestly do not know what you are on about.

Gay bashing in the name of religious freedom is a new twist.

    Anti-science is more well-established.

That said, there is no doubt some overlap.

Global warming and environmentalism is the religion, and they support discrimination in the name of that religion, calling for boycotts and divestment of fossil fuel companies. The people that bush this boycotts are generally the same as the ones that call for boycotting and divesting from Israel.

I know this might make your head spin around and cause you to loose your split pea soup, but

"The First Amendment (Amendment I) to the United States Constitution prohibits the making of any law respecting an establishment of religion, impeding the free exercise of religion, abridging the freedom of speech, infringing on the freedom of the press, interfering with the right to peaceably assemble or prohibiting the petitioning for a governmental redress of grievances. It was adopted on December 15, 1791, as one of the ten amendments that constitute the Bill of Rights."

The only people infringing on people's rights are those trying to suggest that they have a right to have others serve them like they are their slaves. People have a right to refuse service to anyone they want. I personally wouldn't have but I support their right to make their own decision based on their religion. If they don't support gay marriage, it is their right to not participate in it. I realize that some alarmists don't care what the Constitution says and couldn't give a flip about eroding our rights (protections) that we were granted as long as some left wing cause is furthered.

Added: What this question really demonstrates (sadly) is that some people are easily led by the main street media. These are the same people that are invariably (it seems) alarmists. The media decides to drum up their poorly educated minion to say that conservatives hate gays and they support legislation to discriminate. In fact, the legislation is designed to not discriminate and to protect religious freedoms. The federal version was created by that far right winger (sarcasm) Chuck Schumer and Clinton voted for it as did Obama. That is why I call alarmists sheep. They are willfully ignorant.
