Why can I like my own answers?
I mean I was just trying something out because honestly, liking your own answers would be pathetic, but why can I do it if I were that pathetic?
I even got the message: 'Someone upvoted you answer for...' ....... lol

The general consensus on here is that Yahoo gave the ability to us to help us feel better over losing community voting, though I've heard other reasons, too. And yes, it is an "lol" to get a notification saying someone has upvoted our answer when we know perfectly well who it was. In any case, we're allowed to do it so go ahead if you want to. By the way, we can dislike (TD) our own answers too, but who wants to do that? :)
