Sounds like an honest man. A rarity. You can do a lot with an honest man. Talk to him. Best thing is to really ask yourself, before you see him, how this makes you feel. Maybe it's a parting of the ways but for your kids sake, make it peaceful :) Maybe the "idk" is really him not knowing. he's going through a new time too so maybe he needs to adjust & recieve reassurance that you DO want to be in a relationship.

Thing is, not one thing you read on here can truly help you unless it tells you to talk to him, like two adults about to have a child. We do NOT know you. Knowing what it makes you feel is the most important. You need to ask yourself questions. Does this mean that in 5 years he will leave? he has told you he doesn't want a relationship after all. If he goes in 5 years & you have 2 kids he will be doing what he said. Should you take the immediate pain & leave. He said he might leave you after all & it would be better to do it now rather than postpone the inevitable. Is he scared? Talking to him is where it starts as well, we know nothing of yu 2 or your history, we may as well write blah blah blah for all the good it will do. You know him. Can you talk to him? Will he listen?

You figure out how it makes you feel first lady & take it from there :)

remember though, a lot of men wouldn't be that honest, that has to count for a lot in my book & I reckon you can talk to him :)

He doesn't sound reliable at all! He just said he doesn't know if he wants to be in a relationship with you. It means he does not love you. There is no doubt when it comes to love. You either have those feelings or you don't.

You need to have a face to face conversation and talk about what he really meant in his text. It sounds like it's over, though.

You need to meet him face to face and have a conversation about what he wants. If after 4 years he doesn't want to be in a relationship with u then honestly maybe he doesn't deserve you.
