Do you think that Pikachu is a boy or a girl?

What do you think? In the the Pikachu song it says you are my BROTHER, and in the show he also worse a boy's kimono, however there are arguments against him being a boy too. What do you think, why?

    well id say he's a girl. but from what u suggested he seems a boy . Also cause his evolved from, raichu (dont mind spellings) is rather manly. or should i say,,, boyish xD

    I think pikachu is a boy because some girl pokemon fell in love with pikachu
