Is or was...................?

When I was 18 years old, my father bought me a car which is/was a Toyota.

"is" or "was" should be used ?

更新:

I am still using the car, it is still a Toyota, it does/did not change to other brand.

The car is a Toyota, this is a fact.

Also, does or did should be used in the sentense?

    "Was" is the appropriate word to use in this sentence, but you could make it a lot easier by just saying "When I was 18 years old, my father bought me a Toyota."
