Gastritis , acid reflux and heartburn...can i smoke?

i have been diagonised with gastritis and i got heartburn here and then after meals....i havent smoked in a while , is it dangerous to smoke? how about 1 cigarette or switching from cigarette to pipe smoking?

    i feel it is the best time to quit as i think it could aggravate your condition. there is a book by alan carr ( not the comedian) called easy way to stop smoking. i tried everything and it didn't work and this book is amazing it has helped so many of my friends and myself even my friends have recommended it to many places and their friends too so give it a go.
