Dr. Who: Was there a connection between Bad Wolf and Clara?
I'm slowly but surely catching up on the new series, and am still on the last few David Tennant episodes. But I saw some fan work on YouTube that seemed to indicate Rose, as Bad Wolf, had something to do with Clara's splitting up into multiple copies to save the Doctor throughout time. Is this true, or was that just a theory before the episode aired?
Also, why didn't Rose as Bad Wolf save herself from being stuck in the alternate universe? Surely if she had that much power and knowledge, she could've saved herself. But then, I guess we wouldn't have the tear-jerker episodes, would we?
Thanks so much!

Nope, only fan theories before the episode aired. It's possible that Clara met, interacted, or was near other companions of the Doctor's in his time stream, including Rose, but there is no way of knowing, unless they interact in the 50th and it comes up.
They don't explain that entirely but maybe it was a fixed point she foresaw that if she changed it, it would destroy other things that needed to happen, or maybe since she's human and had the entire vortex running through her head, she could see it all, but couldn't possibly process all that she was seeing to might have only been able to focus on bits and pieces and may not have ever seen it, or might have, since she could see everything that could possibly be, not known for sure which outcome was actually going to happen for her and for all we know she did something that prevented something even worse and that created the ending she ended up with. Who knows.
