Saints Row IV Wasn't As Bad As I Thought?
Bought SR IV, Definatley will keep my entertained until GTA V comes out. Why is everyone giving it so much hate?
@SomeGuy - Yes I will give you that one the textures seem buggy. Idk if its meant to be like it.

It really depends on how you want to play an open world game. Some players are more casual, looking for an entertaining - but not too serious - game. Saints Row is in that category. It does a very good job at taking the "fun" and wackier elements of GTA and super-sizing them. If you are looking for a deep, somewhat plausible story, GTA is still far better at "story telling" in an open world environment.
Because GTA is open world, many gamers play it as a pure sandbox. Saints Row is targeting these types of gamers who want to blow things up and do what they want with relatively few limitations. Even though GTA is the definition of an open world game (it practically created the genre), there are still in game rules and limitations that - while not always outright telling the player what to do - do provide some context and natural playing tendencies.
Just my 2 cents.

It lost its Gangsta touch. Saints Row 1 & 2 was all about gangsters now its all weird.

We dont hate on SR4,its just why does it changed??? SR and SR2 was Epic until SR3. if SR4 was a different title it would be awesome.

Because of the Superpowers and too much stuff is on one disc so it's glitchy and doesn't have very good textures.

haha lol i have sr3 from a year,played it & left it after a gameplay of 3hrs.
Its fairly playabe & good.
But sr4 is waste of time & money !
Don't buy it ..!
So you have it & its gonna get worse but enjoy as long as you can.
