Laptop screens all white?

heyy a while ago my motherboard burnt and i got it repaired but when i got it back the screen would go white and i would move the screen back or forth and it would return to normal,but yesterday i turned it on and i moved the screen but it wouldn't show any picture. i know its just the picture because i can hear the sound etc and id rather not spend a fortune so any advice for how to fix it BTW i have a compaq 615

    To give a definitive answer, you need to connect the computer to a desktop monitor. If the desktop monitor shows a correct screen, you have a cable or LCD panel problem. If the desktop display is not correct either, then it's the motherboard again.

    Many HP/Compaq laptops are prone to graphics processor problems. Often the internal WiFi will fail at the same time.
