Baseball scoring questions?
Okay, I know that there are as many ways to fill out a scorecard as there are people who score, but I'd like some ideas.
Is there a way to mark that a runner moved up on a throw?
Say someone hits a single to center. The center fielder throws home to get a guy at the plate. The man on first is then able to move up to second. Is there something put in the scorebook to mark this or do you simply move him up?
Also, how do you mark offensive interference, or any interference for that matter? I've seen to put INT; however, that doesn't explain what actually happened. Are there ways to do this?
One more---anyone know of a good, comprehensive resource for scoring? The only ones I could find are the basics.
THX
Unfortunately, I had to pick a best answer.Only one of the three questions was addressed. I guess an 0.333 is considered good. Thanks for doing what you could.

Definitently not a fielders choice - on stuff like this, and I'm sure there's an official designation, but what I do is put a little line from the out in the play at home's box to the move up on throw and write "muot" or some designation so I know how the guy moved up. Or sometimes I make an asterick and at the bottom of the page write it out - I keep stats no my softball teams so I'm the only one who sees the scorecards, it's whatever is easiest for you to understand.
