Is it normal for older cats to become finicky eaters?
My cat is 17, and a few months ago, he started getting really finicky. He will only eat seafood flavors. And I have to switch brands every 3 or 4 weeks, because he stops eating it. Is this normal?

Yes it is common for older cats to become finicky. I had to switch between tuna and chicken baby food when my cat got older. Sometimes she wanted a mixture of the two.

A lot of puppies are finicky eaters. I have a mastiff x rhodesian ridgeback and she or he is a finicky eater. She is not going to devour Pedigree , Iams ,Eukanuba and canned meals simply disagrees with her , but she likes Bakers whole which is a less expensive dried food . She will turn her nose up at something, even some treats .
