Do you think a lawmaker should be removed from office for not saying the pledge of allegience?

Democratic Rep. Babette Josephs said the words "under God" in the Pledge make it a prayer, and she refused to say it.

I say it is not a prayer, but a description of our nation (or what our nation was)

and so she should be ousted and considered a traitor

I am just going to assume here that an elected representative has a better concept on the Constitution than you do.

Until 1954, the words "under god" were not IN the pledge of Allegiance, and were only added in the insane idea that a communist trying to infiltrate the government wouldn't say them.

Go look up the definition of treason, before you try to declare someone a traitor.

Lots of lawmakers say it and don't mean it anyway. So, at least Josephs is not showing hypocrisy that many do.

Not believing in your magical sky-daddy does not make her a traitor.

I think we should give her a pink slip and take all of her money,Because it says in God we trust on it and we don't want her to think we want her to love the same God that we do.( Or what our nation was) Love to all J.Wood Orange County,Fl.

"under god" was a recent addition, it has no business being in it.
