Why would I have knee ache?
My knees are aching a lot lately, mostly if I am sitting down for a while or walking for more than 15 minutes. I find it almost impossible to sit crossed legged because of the immediate aching I get.
I am a 14 year old girl and am going to the doctors tomorrow but I wanted to know the possibilities
I don't do enormous amounts of excersize, just twice a week at school
Thank you

It is caused by tight muscles. Your dr. may or may not pick up on that but he won't have the right information about what to do. The muscles need to be released to get rid of the tightness causing the pain. You can try exercising but it can also cause the muscles to tighten up even more to make the pains worse than they already are. You need to find one who does the muscle releasing to get you out of that pain.

Well sometimes your knees can lock up and you wont notice it but it does hurt. It happens to me all the time.
