Curiosity safely on Mars. How's that!?

YEA!!!! My brother and I hugged when it landed. I will be checking every day for pictures. Were you using "Eyes on the Solar System"? It is the simulation program that you say on NASA tv. I was using it and following the landing simulation every second while they were providing commentary in the background

The first images are already down, taken through the dust caps which are still in place because of the dust the landing kicked up.

That's pretty darn awesome. Congratulations NASA/JPL! :D

The first hazard camera photos (B&W, 256X256) are already down. If all goes well, Curiosity will extend its main camera and give us a nice big color photo sometime tomorrow.

Oh Wow! It's a great news. Eagerly waiting for the photos.

I am so excited! The first pic is amazing, and I can't wait to see more. This is an awesome success and I'm super excited.
