What does it mean to dream of having a daughter?
i have been with my boyfriend for almot 7 months and we are of different cultures. i am an anglo european and he is french canadian. we have had discussions regarding future languages and schooling if we ever have children, as he was always concerned of our children being "french haters" as some of the anglophones here are.
i had a dream that i had a daughter with my boyfriend, she was a teenager with long dark hair and light eyes. she was very pretty but in my dream she was arguing with us (my boyfriend and i) about french people and how much she hated them. what does this mean? thanks in advance!!

I believe that we often see our children as extensions of ourselves. Mothers often identify with their daughters (and vice-versa). The same could be said of fathers and sons, and (in general) parents and children. I think that you are examining the intercultural ramifications of your relationship and how that will translate into the next generation.
I know that you don't have any children, So this forces your subconscious to simulate the whole thing rather than extrapolate from current data (hence the dream).

It means that you have been thinking about how your daughter is going to hate french people way to much! You need to just live life and let god decide how your daughter is going to be. Im POSITIVE that if your Boyfriend is french then your daughter isnt going to hate french people cause if she does she will hate herself!
