What's your favorite movie soundtrack?
HELLO! Recently I've realized that movies can have exceptional soundtracks. I've bought a few, such as the soundtrack to the movie "Submarine" it's an awesome film and the soundtrack to Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along blog. (Which doesn't count as a movie and it's supposed to have a great soundtrack... don't mind me) But I am interested in looking for new soundtracks that are as awesome and bring you memories of the movie while still holding up as great original songs!
So please list your favorite movie soundtracks, and if you don't mind, tell me why you like it!

Thanks for the recommendation of "Submarine" soundtrack. It sounds really good.
I'd recommend back to you two soundtracks (original works): "Once" and "Hedwig and the Angry Inch". Hope you like them (you can YouTube the songs to hear them).

Coyote Ugly (some great originals and some classics on that one)
Moulin Rouge! (classics changed up a bit, but still awesome!!)
10 Things I Hate About You (again, I hear any song off this soundtrack and I automatically think of the movie)
I think the 90's/early 00's had some pretty awesome soundtracks for movies, but that's just me lol

Oh guy, so frustrating! If we are speaking usual soundtrack, then probable backyard State, Moulin Rouge, and a frustrating Day's evening (technically an album... yet nevertheless used as a soundtrack =) If we are which includes action picture rankings, then Lord of the jewellery and Harry Potter! additionally Saving inner maximum Ryan and Schindler's checklist....

All of the Star Track moves have great soundtracks. I went to a concert put on by a high school Symphony band that played then all so beautifully.

Phantom of the Opera and Sweeney Todd - Fun Music that I can sing to and act out (hehe I know lame)
Memoirs of a Geisha - Sad movie, soundtrack makes it so powerful
Hans Zimmer (composer) - Beautiful, beautiful music

Well being a movie-maniac myself I have heard a lot of epic soundtracks from many movies,but there are some that you SHOULD check,they include,the soundtracks :
Sunrise movie soundtrack
Braveheart movie soundtrack
Requem for a tower
Shrek (It is you) ;)
Harry potter Prisoner of Azkaban soundtrack
and many more
