What does a girl mean when she says this?

Hello

Basically I've known this girl for ages like (8 years) now, and I was speaking to her yesterday. We were catching up and like I've always have spoken to her (everyday or every couple of days).

So we we're talking about how I'm moving away to New York in a couple of months (because I got a new job there). And I was telling her ever since like 5 years ago I've had to consistently relocate my lifestyle such as moving work from Birmingham, then Burton then London and moving education like Uni to different campuses and I really want this one to be the last move I make in a long time because I'm tired and I want to meet genuine people again.

So we kept talking and like she asks how many genuine people I know atm. I said probs 6 including her and she didn't believe me. I explained to her why she's like that to me and she understood. So like I asked her does she think Im genuine to her, she said no. I kept asking her why a few times and she wouldn't respond.

Can anyone help me why because I've always helped her , I've always made sure she's ok and I've always given her a truthful opinions if she needed them.

We're not in relationship btw.
