what would my check be for 3 days if $25K was my annual salary?

I trained for 3 days and had to quit because of transportation. Still waiting for my check and want to make sure they pay me for the three days.

更新:

No they didn't tell me my hrly rate that's why I was wondering. You see when I worked set salary before you get the same pay regardless of the hrs. you worked. That's why I am curious. I worked different hrs. during the 3 days of training.

Didn't they tell you your hourly rate?

Assuming you were working 40 hours a week, then $25,000 divided by 52 is $480.76 per week, or $12.02 per hour, so three days would be $12.02 times 24.

They'll take taxes out of that, so you won't get the full $288.

What you describe is being paid a salary as opposed to an hourly rate. It means that no matter how many hours a week you work, your pay will be the same. It will be prorated at $96.15/day gross.

If they annualized your salary so you could understand what you would make a year, but you are paid hourly, then assuming they used a standard 40 hour week your hourly is 2080 (hrs a year) / 25,000 (annual salary) = $12.01/per hour gross. If this is the case, take the # of hours you were in training and multiply it by $12.01 to get your answer.

In either case, taxes will be taken out to give you a net pay.
