Are there any Boardwalks in the South Florida area?
l know there is a Broadwalk in Hollywood, it is nice & l like the bike path, but l am looking for something more like the Boardwalks you find in Wildwood, NJ or Ocean City, MD. Any ideas?

Yes, but they don't use wood, they mostly use hard surface on the ground. There's one in mid Miami Beach behind the hotels, and Hollywood Beach has its "Broadwalk" which is a couple of miles long & lined with restaurants, snack shops, & kid friendly activities & the kind of things most people think of when they ue the term "boardwalk." .

I'm not aware of any boardwalks like those in Wildwood, Ocean City, Virginia Beach, or the new one of Myrtle Beach. In South Florida, you're either ON the beach wiggling your toes in the sand, or your off the beach. Why waste valuable real estate.
