Do you bring a resume to a walgreen's interview?

well, it being your first job, they usually cut you leeway, however, you want to dress up for an interview, at least demonstrate ironed khakis, a nice shirt, a sport coat or suit won't hurt. no jeans or sneakers!

the most important thing to do in an interview is listen to the interviewer with rapt attention. I mean, like listen so intently to everything they say, don't worry about what to say next, you'll automatically come up with the right answers if you listen extremely intently and carefully.

This is because all people want is to be listened to. The interviewer will spend all day with empty-headed self-absorbed self conscious people worry about how they appear, what to say next, what to do lost in their own world. If you come along and pay strong attention to their every word, tone, inflection, even body language they will be utterly blown away. Especially from a young person.

Also bring your resume in a clear plastic sleeve or nice folder. They will already have it, but there is a slight chance they will not. Also, don't mention anything negative, keep positive momentum throughout the interview.

Walgreens Resume

Listen... in business, you ALWAYS round up, not down... this means dress nice, and bring a resume if you have one. You don't have to wear a suit for Walgreens, just put on nice pants and a collared shirt and you will probably be fine. Bring your resume and be prepared to talk about what's on it. Prepare a list of questions to ask the interviewer so he can see that you are interested in the job and well-spoken (hopefully you are). Don't worry about what you're "supposed" to do.... just do what you think will make a good impression. Bring a pen, and a positive attitude, you'll do fine.

Well, they called me for an interview for tomorrow at 9AM and I have no idea what to do. This is my first job. What should I wear? And what do I need to bring? Thanks, as much detail as possible would be greatly appreciated. :D

The people doing your interview should already have a copy but it is a good idea to take a copy with you. It is a good idea to have several copies with you at all times. I carry a couple of copies in my car where I can get to them when an opportunity presents itself. Hard to tailor the resume to the job when I do this but if the job is a really good opportunity I take time to redo the Resume ensuring it is best designed for that employer. Competition for jobs is too tough to be to passive in a job search.

Absolutely no jeans to an interview. Since you are only 16... chances are you have a pair of Khakis lying around.. that would be your best choice with a collard shirt. May bring your HS diploma if you have grad already.. otherwise just wait. Good Luck to you.
