Graphics tablet not responding?
About a year ago, I bought an Aiptek 600U Premium II graphics tablet new over Amazon. Mostly, I love it.
However, I just got back from 2 weeks away (therefore haven't used either laptop or tablet for 2 weeks), and the tablet isn't responding. The cursor reacted to my scribbling for a few seconds immediately after the tablet was plugged in, and then stopped. It responds to the touch pad, so this is not a case of the screen freezing.
I have replaced the nib, and then uninstalled and reinstalled the Pen Pad with Macro Key Manager software. For about a minute after restarting my computer, the cursor responded to the tablet; however, it has now stopped again.
Obviously I can't just keep restarting my computer and scribbling quickly - so, any ideas? I'm struggling to find tablet help on the internet that isn't for Wacom...
If you need to know: Windows Vista Home Premium, Dell Inspiron 6400 (3 years old).

If you've done Windows updates then some do bugger up the drivers, so check if there is a new driver available. The other thing is that they are dust magnets so get a soft moist cloth and clean the surfaces to improve contact
