What is a good, reliable golf hybrid?
I am an amateur golfer and I have only been golfing for around 2 years. My golf set is coming together well, I have everything I need except for a good, reliable hybrid. I want a reasonable price, but I will probably buy it used, so that's not so important. If you have any suggestions for the type of hybrid (brand and specific name) and suggested loft, (3,4,5...) I would really appreciate it. If you could link a picture of it also, so that I could see exactly what it is to buy it used, I would love it. Thanks!

I play a Nike Slingshot (actually 2, a 2 and a 4) and I like them a whole lot. I got a G10 free when I bought their driver but found it too light and went back to the Nikes. These have now been replaced but I'm sold on them. The 4 has a 23 degree face and I can hit it about 160. And since they are no manufactured (I don't think) you can pick up some good deals.
Great clubs, highly recommended.

Speaking from experience, the most reliable clubs that i have ever used were custom designed for me. The price is for these are normally less than the comparable brand name clubs because there is no brand name to pay for :). In my bag i have a hybrid 3, i find that it the most versatile hybrid and that if i play it like a long iron it is a very handy club to have.

I use the Cobra baffler. I like it a lot. It has been rated #1 in some of the golf magazines equipment reviews. Mine is a couple years old. I have not tried this year's model. If you are looking to save some money, get a 2008 or 2009 model.

I generally shoot in the low 90's and i would recommend the diablo edge hybrids. You might be better off with a higher loft angle because your still farly new to golf. You can just google image diablo edge hybrids. The price for a brand new one ranges from $150.00 to about $280.00 i would highly suggest you save for a brand new one. i hope this helps you out.

I bought a Jazz Bearcat 3-hybrid for about $40 a couple of years ago. I'm a stiff shaft (*snickers*) golfer, but this thing is graphite and works just as well. Highly recommended.
