AVG Free Edition question.?

Lately AVG Free has been making me re-download to get my updates and they try to sell me the full paid version when they do it.

Am I just the lucky one thousandth customer or is everybody having this problem.

It's annoying that my security program is the one that sends me spam pop-ups.
