Grandpa visiting teens for Easter - what to do?
My kids last saw their paternal grandfather almost 10 years ago. His choice - when he's visited the west coast, he's been careful to explain to me and his son how busy he was, no time for family visits.
Now they are almost adults, and grandpa wants to "get to know them" and is visiting. We'll be seeing him soon, and he wants us to do something special. So I've got a 70-plus couple and two teenagers who are supposed to do something together.
Weather is cold, wet, rainy, so anything outdoor is out. Any ideas on what we can do?
We're not actually in San Jose, closer to the coast.

Perhaps the Winchester Mystery House. Since Grandpa is not from the west coast it might be a unique experience and perhaps for the teens too if they have never been. It's indoors and Grandpa might also experience nostalgia with all the antiquities in the place and be able to share his own experiences with his grandchildren of his time.
