Evolutionists: Another question for you?
Oh I may have not made it clear, I meant eye color as in we all have different eye color. Not eye color in and of itself.
A couple weeks ago I asked how races evolved into what they are today, and I received some really great answers. I have found another question to ask to further my knowledge. I came across another question just a few minutes ago. How did eye colors come to be if we evolved? If we came from one cell, how did eye colors come to be? It cant be natural selection because that has nothing to do with eye colors. It cant be that they were born into that because eye color has nothing to do with how many babies you have. I am not trying to bash you, I just want some answers. I am a creationist by the way. All answers are appreciated.

It may not have been natural selection in many cases, but it is possible in some. Dark eyes mean that the person who has them makes a lot of melanin, which would lead to darker skin and hair, and a higher likelihood to tan, rather than burn. In areas where there is a lot of sunshine, having a lot of melanin would be the preferred way to be, therefore the eyes also made a lot and turned brown. Brown eyes are still the predominant colour around the world (some countries have no other eye colour).
In Europe (where blue eyes originated), sunshine is much less intense, and the lack of melanin had no huge impact on survival, therefore blue-eyed children were not at a disadvantage when compared to brown-eyed children. This mutation persisted, giving rise to lots of blue-eyed people in Europe.
Once the Europeans began their world conquest, they started spreading the blue-eyed gene among other humans, causing the gene for blue eyes to become distributed more and more around the world.
Green eyes are similar, in that the mutation did not cause excess risk for the person who had them. Therefore, the gene was not eliminated from the gene pool, but started to spread slowly.
Amber and hazel eyes are usually the result of brown and green genes competing.

As a world-renowned award-winning Creationist, I can tell you most plainly that God changed the appearance of some people in the wake of the Tower of Babel. He gave some of them different colored eyes, some different colored skins, and gave people various different languages. He then scattered the people.
