I have a request...Can we stop asking about our thoughts about Obama or McCain?

The election is over..it was a land slide. Yes Palin was well...she lost it for McCain. Obama yes is the first African American President...Yes he is half white...Yes IT IS A BIG DEAL...look where we were just a generation ago...Yes it's scary out there, Yes we need to give him a chance. Yes we can....

So please...can we stop asking the SAME questions....and go back to the fun stupid intelligent questions we have been asking?

更新:

When I say landslide...I speak of the electoral votes...I know what the pop vote was...and no I did not vote for the guy...and no it wasn't ALL Palin's fault...there was Joe..... :-)

At the end of the day...it's over...let's move on.

Yes, the election is over. Yes, Obama got the majority of the popular and electoral college vote. Palin didn't lose it for McCain. McCain lost it for McCain. If you and I put our heads together, we could have run a better campaign. Yes, Obama is African American, but that is no reason to vote for him. Vote on the issues he espouses, if you can remember what they might have been. Vote on who he is, not what he is. Yes, it is a big deal that voters voted with their hearts and their gut and their sense of being "in the moment", but that was also the characteristic of Jonestown. And, yes, Obama will be given his chance especially now that he is actively trying to lower the expectations concerning the performance of his upcoming administration. And, yes, for some of us, we will be courting the scheudenfreude as we bite our tongues from wanting to say "I told you so!" But then, a McCain presidency would elicit from me the same emotions.

As Churchy LaFemme once said, "I would have written my name on the ballot, but I was afraid of precipitating a landslide." Cie la vie.

Actually I get a kick out the answers. Obama supporters are elated, let them bask in their glory. McCain supporters are licking their wounds and figuring out how to keep Palin off the next ticket.

i agree with you..tuesday was a change in history that we all got to experience..and if your wondering i was for McCain but the elections are over..theres nothing we can do about it...and theres one thing i don't agree with you..i thought sara palin gave McCain a great amount of votes so you shouldn't say she lost it for him..people just favored obama better..so you couldve gave her a break..but do give obama a chance!

Fine by me. I was wondering if I should even be here. After an experience today with a member of the Religious Right, I was thinking that my careful compositions were in the nature of casting pearls before swine.

If only it were that simple. Unfortunately this will be going on until he's inaugurated, and lo and behold possibly throughout his presidency. I'm right there with you though. I miss the fun stupid intelligent questions too. :(

    I am ALL for that.

Hey Amanda E: I thought you were grounded. What are you doing online? And quit trolling elections. Don't comment on things you're too young to understand. We've got enough juvenile acts from those of voting age.

It was not a landslide, stop making comments that are certain to cause a reaction from the other side.
