Anime recommendations?

Shugo Chara, Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru, Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge, Lovely Complex, Maria-sama ga Miteru, Kannazuki no Miko, DearS, and Hand Maid May. They are all relatively similar.

This would probably make you a shoujo fan, borederline josei. Based on my own likes, which are very similar to the list you have, here are shows which you may find to fun watch (and will most likely enjoy).

Nodame Cantabile: Basically, it's amazing. I give it closely a ten, because it really is great. Nodame is the best, as you may or may not some day read, heroine the world has ever seen. Chiaki is also amazing, because - because he is. It, Nodame Cantabile, has everything - that bit of romance, humor, music, drama, and that little spice for everyone.

Skip Beat: Here's another unusual heroine for you. It's an original concept, and Kyoko is such a loveable and hilarious character. It is Kyoko making her rise to fame, while trying to eliminate Showa Fu's (the guy who jilted her in favor or fame) career. The mangaka here has enjoyable art work. This was just recently adapted from a manga into an anime.

Gundam SEED/Destiny - this is also more towards adventure/action, although filled with plenty of romance and bishoujo to keep any shoujo fan content. It follows first generation Coordinator (genetically enhanced human) Kira Yamato and his struggle through a mobile suit war (The Bloody Valentine War), while trying trying to keep sane. Key relationships are Kira and Lacus, likewise Athrun and Cagalli. GSDestiny goes on to follow Shinn Asuka and go more indepth on Athrun, Kira's closest friend.

You have good taste, I've seen and loved all those. I'd reccomend FLCL, aka fooly cooly. It's brilliant, fun, with great animation and characters. It'll definately give you a giggle!! ^^ plus it's only a few episodes long, but it's one of those things you HAVE to watch!!

inuyasha. Its a tragic love story about a half demon named inuyasha and a priestess kikyo. a half demon Naraku betrayed kikyo and inuyasha into hating each other in order to fill the shikon no tama with hate. Kikyo pinns inuyasha into a tree before dieing. 500 years later a school girl Kagome goes to her family's well house before being sucked into the well and goes 500 years into the past. she frees inuyasha from the spell in orders to kill the demon that sucked her in.
