on a friends 1988 ford bronco. ?

what would cause the injectors to fail completely. he has replaced the fuel pump ( confirmed bad) fuel filter (at this point why not) the ignition module (searching) and the plugs and wires. the check engine light came on but went out since. as i said the injectors are the only thing thst it is lacking.

Another possible cause could be a faulty neutral safety switch, though I have never heard of someone actually having to replace it because of a starting problem.

If the wiring on the car was recently worked on, you should check that also. The right corroded wire would definitely cause this vehicle not to start.

One of my previous vehicles had a corroded wire that caused my vehicle to crank but not start. I did everything you have done on theh bronco, and it was just a wire that I ha recently probed on.

Alot of times the neutral safety switch will cause the engine not to turn over at all.

What was the initial problem prompting the fuel pump change? I cant see the fuel pump being bad along with pcm all at once.

Make sure you are getting fuel to the injectors some times there might be air in the line especially after a failed fuel pump and filter.
