May I hear your thoughts on this poem?
---The Passing---
Life
cherished
beloved
we ever seek
new ways to keep it
ways to never lose it
why crave to be immortal?
what value can be placed upon
a thing when it is never-ending?
though i do not rush to meet the end,
it should not be viewed with terror
but as a natural thing;
life, for all our whinings,
for all our fears and
tears, is rendered
meaningless
without
Death
ideally, it would be structured as a diamond - i stuck a nonet to a backwards nonet - but Y!A doesn't do extra spaces ><

This is a great nonet...I especially love this part:
why crave to be immortal?
what value can be placed upon
a thing when it is never-ending?
Very thought provoking!

I like how you start it with LIFE &then end it with DEATH. It's a good message. I don't know if you constructed it too look like a triangle on purpose, but I like it. To me, I think it represents a story line, like beginning, climax, ending, and how life is like everyone's own personal story.
If you wrote this, good job.

I think this is a very deep poem. And without actually experiencing & understanding death you won't fully appreciate life..
