IS IT TRUE THAT YOUR DNA CHANGES when you are more conscious?

My sister told me that the reason why i don't get sick anymore is because my dna changed. My mind is higher so my dna changed. she said she will explain it but she started with this atom, molecules stuff and protons. too much chemistry for me. can someone explain please.

Your sister is mostly correct (depending on how one defines "consciousness"). Http://www.divinecosmos.com cites some solid research, which you'll have to use key words to search for ("dna"). "The Biology of Transcendence," J. C. Pearce, http://www.heartmath.org,/ http://www.tiller.org/ and "Psychoenergetic Science," William Tiller, also give studies.

The bases of dna do not change, as far as research indicates; rather, the physical dimensions of dna change; for a tenser person, the dna shortens, which in turn reduces normal metabolism. This is believed to be a helpful condition, i.e., moving toward "flight or fight," rather than "digestion."

The happier, more relaxed, more harmonious, one is, the more one's dna relaxes. This permits a better cellular metabolism.

"The Field," Lynne McTaggart, also is good about topic, and is easy to read. "More conscious" is not exactly necessarily correct--"more loving" is more like it, as love is shown by e.g. Pearce and heartmath people to be more flexible, healthy, than a "headucated consciousness" which tries to direct love feelings and intuition into "little boxes." The heart, loving God, should guide the head.

"Climb the Highest Mountain," Mark Prophet, "Expecting Adam," Martha Beck (two great books), and "Watch Your Dreams," "Extraordinary Knowing," Elizabeth Mayer, Ph.D., and "Man, Master of His Destiny," O. M. Aivanhov, are also good.

"The Reincarnation of Edgar Cayce?", Free and Wilcock, "Babies Remember Birth," David Chamberlain, Ph.D., and "The Beautiful Story of a Master," Louise-Marie Frenette, also touch on this.

Also, as "The Field" explains, even a more positive mental attitude helps tune the immune system, perk it up. "Mary Baker Eddy: Christian Healer," Yvonne von Fettweis, is good to explain this.

Http://www.coasttocoastam.com radio occasionally has guests who discuss such topics.

    cordially,

    j.

p.s. You might share the book list with your sis.

Your sister needs a little more enlightenment. Your DNA will not change. I mean barring maybe a horrible nuclear disaster that would probably kill you anyway. If you are getting sick less then it is probably 1 of 2 things.

1.) Your environment has changed. You are eating differently or you are not around as many sick people or something along those lines.

2.) Your immune system is doing better at handling the various things you are exposed to since it has learned to defend against them and/or your environment has changed slightly (see 1)

BTW thanks for the endorsement Sizzler.

Your DNA can never change, naturally that is. It is embedded in every single particle of your body. The only way you could possibly change your DNA is if you were exposed to large amounts of radiation. This metamorphasis of DNA is called a mutation.

the DNA stays so much the same, it is admissable in EVERY COURT, even years after your death. Why you are more resistant to disease is a POSITIVE ATTITUDE and that improves your physical ability to resist diseases. It is a STATE OF MIND, nothing to do with atoms and molecules. Your sister is just trying to "con" you into thinking she has special knowledge.

Nope. DNA doesn't change with state of mind. Only a mutation would change it.

No, your DNA does not change. This your genetic material you are born with. It is possible for the telomers at the end of the chromosome to age, but not the main genetic material.

your DNA is the same since birth, unless you get some kind of ultra radiation that alters your DNA. other than that I think thats a myth

it sounds like your sister was messing with you or she didnt know what she was taling about. your dna can never change... only when dna is passed down can it be modified

nobody's DNA can ever change. unless mad scientists do something wrong with our DNA.

only by sciences it is possible to change DNA

unlikely DNA alters, but it is poss to use the mind's power to a strong degree
