Is your country having (or had) elections in 2007 or 2008? What are the three main issues?
I'd be interested to hear what you think the three main issues are for voters where you are. Or even just 'THE' main issue!
If you answer, could you say which country you are in and when the elections will be (if you know).

Australian elections have to be declared soon. The Prime Minister is holding out as long as possible in hopes of pulling a rabbit out of a hat. If held this weekend the government would lose, big time. Australian elections are not fixed by date as in the USA, they just have to be before a certain time. The government is running out of time.
The main issues are Iraq, workplace relations and persistent government lies.

These are the issues I will be looking at.
1) Illegals and no amnesty of any kind.
2) Economy and gettng Americans to work rather than a visa program
3) Iraq war. Clean that mess up, and come home.

IRAQ, Health Care, Fiscal responsibility if you pay care about the main candidates.
For me eliminating the IRS, restricting Federal powers and returning them to the states. Limiting foreign intervention by the US.
