whats the best book to read this year?

The best book I have read this year is 'The God delusion'.

Well written, broken dont well and for me, spoke good plain common sense to certain things/facts.

Very interesting (expects a whipping off the God Squad or Jesus' storm troopers for that suggestion).

Historical fiction.

The Sixth Wife. Suzannah Dunn.

Innocent Traitor. Alison Weir.

Lords of the North. [ Alfred series] Bernard Cornwell.

All a brilliant read.

Dogs.

Marley & me. John Grogan . You know whats coming in the end & it is sad but again brilliant read

Walking Ollie.Stephen Foster. Made me laugh from start to finish,brill for any body with wayward dogs.

Went to Australia last March and read Ugly by Constance Briscoe. It was a great read and got me all the way to Singapore. Going again this November and hope I'm going to get equally engrossed with Nefertiti by Michelle Moran. Have also read Marley and Me by John Grogan, and like Echo you know how its going to end but its a good read.

Manifesto by The Barefoot Doctor

"Death By Black Hole And Other Cosmic Quandries". Gives a lot of insight into the formation of the universe and other cosmic mysteries, including many different ways life on earth could and will eventually end.

Don't tell my mother I work on the rigs, she thinks i'm a piano player in a whorehouse.

Well, this depends on your interest. I liked "Great war for civilization" by Robert Fisk.

Probably the new Clinton one.
