Pros - merchandising effect, huge income from gate recipients and massive shirt sale, also recruiting more fans in Hong Kong.

Cons - In terms of the clubs, big cost in travelling to Far East, and in terms of the players, players travelling on tour to a country so far away in the middle of their summer 'holiday' makes them tired, and of course, there is always a high chance that the players will mess around when they are on tour to HK. (good example being the real madrid players visiting prostitutes in 2003) In terms of the people in HK, the biggest disadvantage is of course the massively expensive merchandises, including tickets.
