Things to do in Seaside when it rains?
We are spending a week there and kids range in age from 4-7. Any suggestions for bad weather things to do? We already plan on feeding the sealions which will burn about 15 minutes....
Um, yeah. They can watch DVDs in the car and at the house we are renting, but what fun is that when they can do that at home. Sheesh. Need some indoor and weather independent things to do in the Seaside area.

Lucky for you..
There are lots of arcades in town.-
A water cycle ride(the paddle type) along the river in the rain makes a special memory. ( If not pain in the butt drying clothing latter)
A walk down the south side of town to the seafood shops is always good. ( kids love looking at the weird fish)
In the middle of town is a little mini mall, it has lots of shops to look in ( save this walk for a rainy day) the carousel with the horses are lots of fun.
Hot coco at the Shilo Inn is a neat treat. Ask to be seated by the windows. ( They overlook the ocean, and the ocean walkway) The Shilo is located at the end of the round about. ( They are used to families doing coco and rainy days)

rent a movie, go to the aquarium, or go into some of the shops like salt water taffy stores.

What about videos? They always love them. Do they have the machines in the rooms to play them on?
