Yahoo messenger with voice is such a pain, I need help!!!!!?
Is there anyway to get back yahoo messenger 5.6? Yahoo messenger with voice is such a pain. It wont let me talk to my friends. it keeps saying that my microphone and speakers are being used by another program and to shut down that program. How do I find out which program is running it? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

If you have Real player installed on your computer most likely it's the culprit.you sahould be able to get an older version of messenger at this site

Try clicking on Start, Run ,and type in msconfig and click ok. It might tell you what is doing it, check the list. Just un check what you do not want running.
The next time you start your computer it will tell you that you have made changes. Just select not to tell you any more.
If you want to put something back that you removed just do as above but put a check back where you had removed it before.
