  • Ernest Hemingway?

    I have just read the first 60 or so pages of 'For whom the bell tolls' and I couldn't get in to it at all. Does it get any better? I am patient and will struggle through if I think it is going to be worth it but the story just wasn't drawing me in. Alternatively can anyone recommend any other Hemingway books that you have read that I might find more interesting (I realise this is fairly subjective!)?

    I am looking for some new artists to listen to. I like the above artists as well as Jurassic Five, Dialated peoples, Tribe called quest, The Roots, John Legend, Talib Kweli, Handsome boy modelling school, The fugees etc. Not looking for anything that plays on the radio now like Black eyed peas or Kanye West or anything too 'gangster rap'. Suggestions are appreciated - thanks!
