It literally makes me sick to my stomach with the thought of our freedoms being so easily eroded by those who are liberal.

The issue isn't really whether you beleive in gun control or not it's about the freedoms are country were based upon being taken away! The founding fathers understood the need for citzens to have the right to bear arms.....

Well it would seem they may have gotten their commupance and American's have made a strong statement! Hopefully they and any others like them will pay attention!:

Any body familiar with these? I have three magnets that a friend gave me - the Kenko max, strip and mini round. Not sure what to do with these/which ailments to use them for....

My eldest dd wet the bed last night. She's a bit embarassed as well as scared. She hasn't wet the bed in years -- and didn't even much as a child. Thoughts?

ps-- don't necessarily want huge horror stories as I worry enough but just advice/experiences from anyone who's gone through this, etc.

We have a signed contract on a house in KS... however it is not going to close by the date on the contract due to contractors not showing up to do the remodeling. The broker who is selling it says it will be 99% done and she would let us move in before closing. We don't want to do this and in fact would rather just buy a house in a different community. We are willing to forfeit our earnest money, no inspections or apprasials have been done. She is terribly upset and says she will seek damages --- for "customization". When we started she was trying to flip the house and allowed us to choose the exterior paint colors (we paid for the trim color - white with blue trim), laminate flooring rather than carpet in two bedrooms(in contract), primer rather than paint in the bedrooms, I picked the countertop color, refinishing the porch(in contract), etc. Everything was something she was ALREADY planning to do and we only made minor changes if at all.

Thoughts?

Just find it interesting that after all the brouhaha (including on this venue) about Mr. Speaker and his horribly infectious TB now they're saying they were wrong. He still has TB just not that strain.

The govt should publicly apologize to him and his family and the rest of the nation! But I'm quite sure they won't...... fear is a great tactic for population control.

Did you see this?! Now no matter how old you are to buy beer you will be carded! Your liscense scanned. But it doesn't cover wine, etc. Now on the one hand if you're going to enact a law like this you should cover all forms of alcohol but in reality it's just a ridiculous way to keep tabs on the public!

I always had to ask for id and know the date when I was a cashier are the clerks in TN really to stupid to figure that out? I think not.

Interesting isn't it that in Europe the drinking age is lower and yet they have less issues? Not saying we should lower the age just change our attitude. Do they really think this will make any difference?

The govt is just trying to cover their own butts in my book. Lots of people could have the same thing and not even know it! No coughing, no fever, etc....he's a very blessed man to be able to know it and be treated and instead is being treated as a pariah.

The flight TO Europe is one thing - the doc's obviously didn't tell him not to or make a serious effort to detain him. The flight back is another - although I can understand his fear the US could have made arrangements for him to be flown back privately/with his family instead of just turn yourself in we don't want to deal with you. While I've lived in Europe and have faith in the German/Swiss systym I'm not sure I would have stayed in Italy either.

TB is a treatable diease - even the kind he has in it's early stages.

This just is to silly for words --- my friend's daughters (also homeschooled) attended the local hs graduation, there were 24 valedictorians!!

Give me a break this is just another pc way of making everyone feel good instead of truly awarding academic excellence and making it something to strive for! Now when I graduated we did have 2 valedictorians and 1 salutatorian but that was because they both had 4.0's back to 4th grade and were well rounded guys! (I graduated with 55 and 5 people had 4.0's or better so even with a 3.89 I was not in the top 10% of my class).

I feel sorry for the true valedictorian and salutatorian of this class as thier honors no longer really mean anything.

Has anybody used collodial silver to treat pink eye? I have had really itchy eyes this week from allergies and this morning my eye is really red, hurts and slightly discharging. Not matted or really goopy yet.

I'm at a friends who has collodial silver so I tried washing my eyes with it this morning. Anyone done this? Success? How many times a day?
