Im contracting for a company whose owner seems to be unsure about the technical details our relationship. This uncertainty is now starting to affect my expectations.

The situation is...I was injured while working on a job. I had no expectation of medical compensation. He however, waffled about availability of WC, and his desire to "pay" my doctor bills out of pocket in order to keep his rates low. At this point its really a weird game, as his foreman has already advised me that there is no WC.

At any rate, I think he is scared Im going to litigate or something when in reality, I have no intentions of such or had no expectations of compensation.

If you could share your thoughts on this with me, I would appreciate what you can share....

I bought one outright($399) from ATT when they first came out(Dec2011'C) to use on an existing plan that was month to month. Sadly, after years of maintaining that account I had to suddenly abandon it. My question is, is there anyway to tell if the phone can be used on another network? Thank you....

I don't have the resources to bring in an industrial hygeinest, and online sources seem a little slippery. If you know of an easily aquirable method or test that won't break the bank , please share it with me. Both my wife and myself are suffering from what seems like allergy symptoms gone awry. The only constant is our home....thanks.

I have been arrested more times than I can remember for domestic violence. I go to court and the prosecutor drops, or nol procs the charges . Anyway, I have no felonies and no convictions for dv. Am I going to have any problems passing a backround check or getting a ccp? Thanks...

My wife is BPD/group b cluster challenged. I am having a real hard time with her constant issues about my mother. I have just about cut my mother off completely just to keep her happy, but it seems(this is where my problem is) any contact with mom is too much for my wife. My wife will carry on for days and make anything a big deal. Is my wife being mean, or does she really believe that my mom is mean or trying to drive us apart, etc? Thank you for sharing your insight!

My wife and I were moving a sofa and king mattress onto a moving van. A friend was supposed to show up to help and couldnt make it. My wife asked a neighbor if her husband would give me a hand, and volunteered that we could pay him if necessary. He came by said he would be glad to help. 12 minutes later, my wife approached as we finished and said "can I pay you something?" to which he says, why yes...I get $60 to help people move. My wife handed him the money, to which he nodded and walked away. I really wished that I would have asked him beforehand, because I would have told him no thanks. Its neither here nor there,. but personally I try to "give" a neighbor a hand because I may need one myself one day. If I am living on another planet, please someone...clue me in. Thank you.

Wife is in any other room than the one I'm in. I'm say on the computer, cooking or watching tv and she will just start talking in a somewhat loud voice. This will go on for minutes then she'll yell, "Are you listening to me?"....

Is there any way to turn off BPD? My wife is killing me very slowly and painfully, my brain is exploding from being pulled in to many directions at once. PLEASE if you can offer some solid advice on how to get from here to where ever peace is without resorting to suicide, please share it....Thank you....

Having a wife with a personality disorder(BPD), I find myself having to explain to the police why my wife has felt compelled to dial 911 and say I am abusing her. I have noticed that as I am put into handcuffs for "my own safety" that whenever there is more than one cop there, the one giving the instructions will give a wink to the other in a way that I am guessing that I was not supposed to see. Coincidentally, just before I am arrested. I have never lifted a finger to my wife, and only on rare occasions - my voice. But all the same, cops show up and seem to go through the motions of questioning, all the while having determined my fate at the "wink". Any solid ideas about this would be helpful to someone who wants to maintain respect for law enforcement while having to sort through the "or worse" of my marriage commitment.
