Can I switch to Garageband and edit tracks from previous Garageband projects?
My previous projects have cheesy midi effects. Can I open them in the new garageband (2014 version) and switch the sound quality to VST? Can I copy and paste them to a new vst track? Or will I have to re-write it? Does VST come standard or do I have to buy or download a plugin to get VST sounds in the mix?
Do the VST instruments sound any good? Are the effects any better than the last version?
Does this new version glitch?
can I still use my older version of garageband if all else fails? Or will the new version completely replace the old version?
Anyone who answers all of these or questions the most gets 5 gold stars and a blank check for unlimited good Karma! : )
Thanks!

Is there a device I can order? Do I need a converter?
TV = Toshiba tv/vcr
I already have a playstation AV out with the same colors but it is not working.
I had the same problem with my Nintendo 64 for a while, and then ironically it seemed to resolve itself. Not sure how.

Please leave me a link to this song so that I can listen to it. The first to correctly identify it gets best answer. It is the commercial that just hit the air, like this april or may.
Much obliged for your help. The song sounds like something used on ESPN or something. Has a really heavy beat, yet somewhat melodic (in a slow way).

I have terrible dryness in my voice, and boiling water in my kitchen helps. If I were to use an electric burner in my studio to moisten up the air (with boiling water) will this cause too much moisture to collect on my equipment? (condenser mic, laptop, 8-bus mixer).
I want the air to be moist enough for me to record, but I'm worried that boiling water might be too extreme a method by which to accomplish this?
What humidity % is too much for recording equipmunk? Is boiling water going to effect these instruments more than a humidifier spraying a fine mist? Perhaps I could avoid this by boiling the water with everything covered up and then uncover it when the condensation dissipates some?
Thanks yahoo community - once again I'm asking you to come to the rescue!

I speak of the one and only Glen Beck. If I wrote a heavy metal song kind of making fun of how serious and conspiratorial he has been, how he didn't represent Fox News well, would I be at risk of being sued or charged? What about if I exaggerated a thing he said a couple times and wrote in the lyrics that he does it "every darn day"? Would I need to be accurate about his activities to a "T"?

I know this sounds weird but I accidentally told my spellcheck to "learn the spelling" of a few incorrect words. I can't figure out how to alter this process back to the point where the spellcheck doesn't know any new/hip words.
How do I reverse my silliness?

Hello readers,
I have the syndrome (which is now looked upon as a neuromuscular disease). I've made some progress in researching this disease, and am steadily looking to improve my knowledge and resources. So here is the question:
- Do you personally know of any websites that delve into the topic? Any Blogs?
- Most importantly, has anyone seen any groups (be it Facebook or otherwise) where people like me can share findings and facts?
Finally, I do have some information to share - if you are a fellow patient like me you might have questions, and I'll gladly share what pieces of the puzzle I've gathered with you so far. Some of it was discovered as recently as 2011 and beyond. I'll also add that I'm not opposed to starting an online support and info-exchange group with some like-minded people. If anyone would like to get in touch with me privately my business email is akadarauch@horizon.csueastbay.edu

On my main Mac computer I can log-in to Facebook, but I cannot "LIke" or post or edit my profile. However I can do all of this fine on my other laptop Mac. This leads me to believe that I have some spyware or malware or bad cookies on that specific computer. Does this eliminate the possiblibity of my network being compromised? Or is it still possible that my wireless network was compromised?
I've started scanning my computer with a free demo of "MacScan", and I'm hoping this will clean out whatever is bad.
What are the implications of this incursion? Are my passwords at risk? If I bought something online during this time, are my credit cards at risk of being nabbed?

I know all about raising the 7th to meet the tonic (e.g. --> B to C in the key of C major).
I just learned about lower leading tones, and a member of my bass section INSISTS that a lower leading tone "needs to be sung different", or "like a leading tone". Um, HOW does one alter this note? By making it higher? Lower?
The rules for altering an upper leading tone are clear and were very well covered at my university music program. You make it higher, so it "leads" into the tonic. I would appreciate it if someone could clarify this nuance for me :)

I have an RSI injury from overworking. I think it is also a nerve condition. One doctor has vitamin D cream with d3, and claims it helps people with inflamed nerves. Has anyone ever heard of this?
