If a vehicle (in this case a motorbike/vandalism) is taken away by your insurer's preferred garage for a quote on repairs and they say it's "BER" and you know it isn't, can you get the bike back and get quotes from other garages etc?

One of my son's is getting a moped and I looked at my licence and noticed that I don't have Moped on in. All other groups are there including HGV. I passed my car test in 1989 (I had a 100cc bike on L plates in late 1980s but never took bike test) but surely I should have the Moped licence on there. My photo licence was last renewed in 2011.

My 16 year old son is getting a moped and needs to complete a CBT. If he uses his moped for the CBT how does he get there with it?

I have a digi tacho card and use it occassionally when I work at other depots driving HGVs for my company. The depot I am based at has no vehicles that require use of a tacho card so don't have the computer upload device. I upload my card at the depots that I use it but as it has to be uploaded every 28 days can I upload it on another company's device to save me driving to another of my company's depots to upload it?

Can be any reason/way. War, accidentally, murder etc.

If you are to be made redundant in the UK public sector and you have formally in writing been given that date and the amount you will receive, are you still entitled to at least a percentage of the redundancy pay if you get (and start) another job before your redundancy date?

Okay. I've just found out that my 15 year old son is meeting a 25 year old man in our town tomorrow, they play online computer games and I've had a call from my 15 year olds ex girlfriends Mum letting me know. The man he's meeting lives about 350 miles away (don't know the address) and is getting the train down. This stinks to me. Am I overeacting (I don't think I am) just comment please.
