She's 68 I'm 78, she's eligible to receive benefits on my account now, we just discovered.  She is a Costa Rican citizen, I'm a US citizen.  I've searched many SS websites on the subjest Espousal Beneifits, but can find nothing re this question.

Noticed recently that 'wordpad' does not work. sometimes locks up the computer, but does not open.

Got around that by changing 'open with' to 'word'.

Today i discovered that 'paint' does not open either. I tried most of the other accessories.......notepad, calculator, command prompt, etc and they seem to be o.k.

Also, tried to restore previous versions for wordpad and paint with no results.

Any ideas? Can I download a new version from the web somewhere?

On 3/04/12, my computer was attacked by microsoft i presume, and loaded 645mb of files having to do with Multiligual User Interface. Since i am now in the process of making space on this computer, my question is, can i delete all this, since i am only concerned with ENGLISH, especially in office programs.

about a week ago wordpad, which i use extensively, will not open. are there drivers i can download? in the beginning it might open after about 5 minutes, and then did not work correctly. now it does not open at all. help!!

what are these berries, and all the other little berries that appear yearly? we don't eat 'em, can't say i see birds eating them and i don't see seedlings all over the place. are they just to look pretty? i am in central north carolina and i can think of about 5 plants/bushes/trees that produce them.

i was having an overheating prob........so i downloaded CoreTemp to keep an eye on internal temps.

the prob has seemed to have gone away. but coretemp records temps of 99 - 108 degrees as soon as i turn on the laptop. could this be accurate?? does a laptop run at such high temps? what is a normal running temp? right now, core 1 is at 115 and core 2 is at 109 degrees, are these normal temps??

Everyione in the house (four computers) has a fine wireless connection, except ME. What could be wrong?? Is there a driver I must download or something. Naturally, I know the network key, but it just does not work on my laptop. I have a Dell computer, with windows xp. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Just spent over an hour on the phone with Linksys.............to NO avail. Help!!!

is it possible to find WHO has been surfing MY page on facebook? i occasionally get a request to join some sort of app to do such a thing, and wonder if it is valid or just some sort of ruse to get my info.

so, my gmail AND hotmail accounts are almost to their storage limits. i have deleted mucho but still want to keep mucho. how do i get those emails on my computer, and therefore free up space on my accounts.

Since about a week ago whenever i go to you tube and click on something, everything is fine except the video does not start until "I" press play. Same thing with facebook videos, even hotmail ads. I don't like it. How do we make it go away???? Thanx.

I mean really, the minute I turn on my computer, core temp reads at 39C. Could it be that hot already. And it hovers around 40-44C all day. I did have a problem 4 months ago of overheating, which is why I downloaded core temp. but have gotten a laptop stand with a fan and now stay at the above temps.

do cockroaches carry a lot of germs or are they just disgusting. i like the ones the fly the best!!
