HMS Shannon's capture of USS Chesapeake 1st June 1813?
I am seeking information about a medallion that was issued on 1st June 1913 to commemorate the centenary of the capture, by HMS Shannon, of USS Chesapeake off Boston MA. Does anyone happen to know how many medallions were issued and whom they were presented to? They were presented by 2 grand-daughters of the captain (Philip Broke) of the Shannon. The grand-daughters were Jane Ann (later Baroness de Saumarez) and Frederica Mary Horatia (later Lady Lambton Loraine). Any information will be gratefully received.
