Has anybody used snow socks last winter? Are they easy to fit by roadside? Do they last? And most important do they work?

I have 2 PCs, both running XP Home and the latest Firefox (version 8.0) On the desktop machine the search box responds with a drop down list of possible topics as soon as I start to type. On the other(laptop) it only offers a selection of what I have previously searched. So far I haven't been able to find any setting to change to get the full dropdown to appear on the laptop. Using Google Chrome things work as I want, but Firefox is my preferred browser

While I can install and load the programme, as soon as I actually try to do anything useful it freezes and I have to close the programme which is flagged as not responding

51 plate astra convertible soft top. The power mechanism has stopped working. Does anybody know of where I can find the details of the mechanism and electrics. Not in Haynes.

I use a psion palm top organiser, and the PC sync software won't allow any com port above com 8. As the lower com ports are already in use as virtual usb ports I need to select com 11. Does anybody know of a patch or workaround.

XP+sp2, Psiwin 2.3.3

HP Deskjet 3845 on USB port, Compaq pressario 1705 . After waking from hibernation the printer fails to respond till the next re-boot. Any suggestions on how to make he connection wake up with the computer?
