i was wondering why can certain animals be eaten raw, and others have to be cooked?

for example... things that we love raw (or raw-ish):

- oysters, scallops, salmon, beef

other animals like chicken or fish needs to be cooked before we consume them.

is there a scientific reason for this, or is it just a social acceptance thing?

quite a recent song i think.. just heard it on the radio and in the dance club. not an electronica song...
