Okay i found a baby meadowlark in the middle of my arena & decided to put it back over in the bushes where i thought it came from, so it's mother could find it. While riding i heard it crying & found that the cat had gotten it & was chasing it. So i caught it (and screamed at the cat) and miraculously it's unhurt. However, the mother was caught by the cat, (as i found out when i was chasing the little thing around and found her) and now i'm here with a baby bird. We looked it up on the internet and decided it was a baby eastern meadowlark, and absolutely adorable. I fed him 8 crickets dipped them in water so he would get both water and food. He quieted down for a moment, but now he's chirping away again. Of course i don't mind the little thing, or taking care of her (as we believe since she is so brown) but i was wondering if there was some bird expert out there who knew about how much she should eat a day? and if her cricket/worm/anything else i can catch diet is good for her? Thanks so much if you can!

Wounded But Healing

I was broken, I know it doesn’t seem true

i just got into the whole acoustic violin and whole like i'm not even sure how to describe it(; anyways.. i just want something rather... beautiful. like a whole orchestra in symphony...something that makes you want to just drift... i love anything beautiful...if you can give me any suggestions?

So i've been trying the more abstract poetry, what's your opinion?

Anger

Unguarded anger

Unspoken dreams

Emanate danger

Rips at the seems

Things that never were

Things that will never be

Feelings begin to stir

Feelings mean nothing to me

What could have been

What doesn’t matter

Guilt from sin

Depends on the latter

Anger unspoken

Emotion astray

The pieces are broken

So just go away

Don’t look at me

Nothing will change

Until you see what I see

From self-thoughts derange

Anger undeterred

Mouth unleash

And finally you learn

What you mean to me

And then a sweet one :

Dewdrops and Dreams

Dewdrops on grass

Like tears on a pillow

Shall surely pass

This I know

Easy and rough

It’s right and wrong

It's never enough

To drift all night long

Through ever present memories,

Through the past

Through the current of the sea’s

To the last

Smooth sailing and wrack

Shark and minnow

All you want is to go back

All you need is to go

Quit and give away

Your chance of life

The hope of the day,

Give into the strife

But then,

Dewdrops on grass

Like pillow and tears

Wash you from the past

Tear you from the years

Dreams like knives

Daybreak like hero’s

Take the older lives

And help you to go.

The promise of the skies

I liked the second one better (though i find it a somewhat lesser quality) only because it's somewhat hard to figure out the real object. The first one's okay too.

So the people that will understand this best are the ones who read my last poem question called Back...but you still kind of get it.

Number The Tears

I know my own heart

it’s no way to begin,

But I don’t know how to start

When I know this is the end

I guess you’ll never know,

How I felt inside

I never let it show

I felt the need to hide

I loved with everything I had

Even when everything was bad

I loved you when you were gone

Even the nights I spent alone

I cried for so long,

Nights, and days as well,

Each and every song

number the tears that fell

Please don’t reach for me,

This is hard enough tonight

Pieces of my heart I haven’t seen

Are coming back to light

I can only say this now,

Because I just have begun to say

And tell my self how

I loved in time so far away

My heart’s healing,

My feelings are beginning to fade

I can find a new a new beginning

I see the bright new day

A year

is far to long,

But I guess

I love to strong

Number the tears,

That fell on my pillow

Facing my fears,

If I’d ever heal, I just didn’t know

I don’t know how it happened,

Overnight it seemed,

Time heals all,

Is what I wish to believe

I was in pain for to long,

But now those days are gone,

And for the first time, even in the loneliest night

You know there’s no need to stay

If i could answer your questions, if i could answer what ever you asked me about God. And if i answered everything you could think to ask in a way that make's reasonable sense to you, would you turn to Christianity? I'm not looking for a critical answer (though i will probably get one) but i would like to understand that if you had nothing to disprove him, would you have faith in Him? If i could turn you towards that, i would love to. If you have those questions for me, e-mail me whatever you would like, i would love to help if you aer struggling with your....non-faith. If you will let me help you, and if when i'm done you had nothing left to ask, would you give God a chance for me.

Don't give me the i used to be a Christian speech I've heard it. In my opinion if you were Christian, then you weren't raised in a home that supplied the information to make your faith strong. I would just like to give you that option now. realize a few of you will tell me that you don't want to turn Christan no matter what i say to you but i would like you to try then, to disprove my faith in Him. You won't i believe, and if you don't will you still not give God a chance? I know you don't want it, don't you see i understand that? but please, humor me.

I can see an answer will probably say this, 'No Because we don't care. Why are you trying to shove your religion in our face?' but this is the only answer i have. Because it's important to me. i care for you, though i don't know you i want you to live with me in heaven. I don't care that you are strangers i want to help you. Will you allow me that?

The study of the Bible is called Bibliology, and the study of written text is called Exegesis, I found that much. But what are those who make these studies their profession called? where can i find information about these jobs? (like how much they make etc) just what is a good website to find these things?

Note: If you are looking at my question and thinking about writing some comment about religion or how I'm shoving my religion down your throat just stop. I'm not forcing you to read my question so just back off. If you have a comment other than directly answering my question, keep it to yourself or at least write it somewhere where your thoughts will be given the time of day (they won't here.) so me & this guy just broke up.. & i'm not good at change so the best thing i can do is to listen to the sad extremely sweet songs when i'm down.. & the hard mean 'i don't ever want to see you again' when i'm feelin good. if ya'll can give me like som of the top ten songs that are either really really sweet or really really fast it would help me...

I'm new to yahoo, and have been reading a couple of people's questions and people argue so much!!! i really don't understand it, but i guess people are entitled their opinion. (Watch somebody say no their not entitled an opinion ;) ) So i'm just wondering, what is a topic that doesn't hit a nerve? :)

i don't see how any person can say "God is NOT real, he is a fictional character in a very well written book." If they don''t believe, there is no reason to comment! if their opinion is that we who believe in him are "stupid and ignorant" than why do they associate themselves with us? It's just as ignorant to comment on something you don't believe exists as it is (in their mind) to believe in it.
