You are welcome to follow me, if that does something for you, but all my questions and answers are open to everyone to view, at any time. I follow someone, only if their content is private and I am trying to figure out something specific about them. I do not follow to show I like you.

  • This one was a lulu?

I was a team member on a paleological expedition, looking for fossils or historical remains or something. After I found a few nice fossils of small work like things, I happened to nick my arm and noticed that beneath my tanned skin was something much darker. I started peeling back my skin to find completely tattooed skin beneath, and after peeling a large part of my body, it turned out that inside me was the remains of some person who had died, nearby. It was as if all that was me was the thin layer of skin peeling off. We found some living relative and learned much of the life story of the person in me and, by the end of the dream, I was gone (peeled off), and they were living their life, again. While I was peeling myself away, I knew that it was destroying me, but I wanted to learn who was under my skin.

    Have at it.

  • Comeuppance ? I haven't heard that word in years.?

This morning I dreamed that I was a camper in a summer camp with a very disliked camp counselor. Somehow, he got stranded in camp with no food and had to survive for a few days by eating crackers he made of shredded newspapers, flour and salt.

When everyone got back to camp and rescued him, they all referred to his paper mache crackers as comeuppance, as if this were the normal name for this food. "All he had to eat while we were gone was comeuppance." I laughed so hard about this name, that I woke myself up. What do you think? I had to look the word up, to make sure I knew what it really means. I'm 61 years old, by the way.

  • Is there any music that your dog likes?

My new beagle, basset hound, blue heeler mix, 7 week old female seems to be getting attached to a nightly playing of an album of Rag Time music (Music of Scott Joplin played by James Levine). The last few nights, she gets restless before bed time, but settles right down for an hour or so of listening, half asleep and stops being concerned who is in the room with her.

I'm trying to figure out if this is strange or common.

I wonder how this nightly pastime will affect her development.
