So I was driving down the road the other day and a lady pulled out in front of me and I had to slam on the brakes. After I stopped and the lady was out of the way, I tried to go, but it was like my brakes were still locked. I put the truck in 1st gear (manual trans btw) and it didn't want to go for a couple of seconds, and I was able to drive away. Any idea of what this is. Im thinking that my rear drums need replacing, new front calipers and shoes and pads.

Ok so all the polls show Oregon to be number 1 in the BCS, but Auburn has a 10-0 record against Oregon's 9-0 record. So how is it possible for Oregon to be #1 with 1 less win than Auburn?

Ok. So at the end of Star Wars: A New Hope, Luke is wearing white, but by the end in Return of the Jedi he was wearing black. Now I understand that he was the one that was supposed to bring balance to the force. But since the Jedi usually wore white, and the Sith wore all black, does that make Luke Skywalker a Jedi master, a Sith Lord, or both? I have never been able to figure this out. I know, I know, the force is weak with me, but i have always wondered about this. So which one is it?

I am looking to enroll in to Roadmaster and was trying to find out, what will keep you from getting your CDL, I have gotten tickets, but not since '05 and nothing major. I also have a misdemeanor but again that is back in '05. Other than that my record is clean. Will this bar me from their school.

The house I live in, the owners before had two dogs and the backyard is half sand and half grass. I need to find out, other than having sod or turf brought in, is there any grass seed that will take root in my yard. Keep in mind that most people in florida (close to beach areas) have a combination of sand/dirt mix under their grass, they just don't know it. I also have two oak trees in my back yard. Also any knowledge of fertilizers that will help the grass to keep growing and take root will help too.

Does anyone know why Pirate Bay is down? I have been trying for 2 days and cant get it to work. It worked a few days ago and now i cant get it. I get the "can not connect button" every time. Is there any other sites like them, and yes I know its a hack website. Yes i know its illegal. Do I care, not likely. Its not my fault that there is free d/l sites out there. I just take advantage of the fact they are out there. Ok so dont show how smart you are by putting this huge math problem, what i am trying to find out is if i went in to space and traveled at the speed of light for a "light year", how many earth years would have passed.

Now with out bashing the other opponent why and who are you voting for. Now don't go off and bashing Palin and tell me she is crazy even though she is not the one running, McCain is. Now in NASCAR there dozens of 1.5 mile races. The other "long" tracks are at Talladega, Daytona, Infenion, the Glen and Indy. Do you think that Nascar would be even more entertaining if they got more instead of the usual 1.5 mile track.I mean Texas, Fontana, Lowes, Phoenix, Michigan, and Atlanta are almost mirrors of each other. Infact they have been called cookie-cutter tracks by annalist at ESPN and FOX.

So what would you like to see more: road courses, super speedways, or what. Me personally I would love to see something like what we see in Grand Prix, where you see them race in city areas. Like the St. Petersburg Grand Prix, in St. Pete FL.

Back in the 90s Mtv had a show called Mtv Oddities. On that show they had 10 minute or so show called The Maxx. I have been trying to find episodes of it on-line, but I can only find one or two episodes and that's it. Is there anyone out there who can tell me where I can find all 12 episodes on line. BTW YouTube no longer has it on their website.

I have a 20 gal. tank that's already set-up. But I need to find out what kind of pump I should get to circulate the water. I am not sure how big of one I should get. I would ask someone at Pet Co, but they have no clue what they are talking about half of the time.

I made it to where Ocelot is working on REX and I cant figure out how to beat Vamp. I shot him over 800 times and he didn't die. I need help, any you can give will be helpful. If you can help me, I will gladly give you 10pts.

I have seen Talladega Nights several times then, it occured to me will we ever see a night race for Craftsman Truck Series, Nationwide or Sprint Cup series at Talladega. If you know please tell me. I would love to Talladega become the fastest track again. Plus it would be nice to see the fastest 500 mile race at night somewhere other than the most impossible place to get tickets, Daytona.

I cant remember the name of the movie, but the way it goes its about a racecar driver trying to go from one side of the country to the other trying to get his daughter. All that I can remember of the movie is that at the end he is running from the police and he purposely wrecks his car in to two bulldozers that were blocking the road. The next scene is him from another view rolling out of his car, and getting a way with his daughter. I think that it might have had Steve McQueen in it I am not sure, but again this is an old movie, maybe from the late 60's to 70's or even early 80's. I have been trying to find the name of this movie for years, and have had no luck. I will gladly give 10 pts to the person who can give me the title.

BTW, it wasnt Bullet, which I know had Steve McQueen in it.

the reason he was going after his daughter was because his ex-wife died and the state was trying to take his daughter, because they didnt see him fit as father being a racecar driver.

You always see the commercials on TV. for cable and for satellite, now this question is for those people that have had cable and satellite. Which one would you say is better on price, quality, service loss (when you lose some channels or they go pixely), along with local channels, and HD service. I want to change my service, but I want to get the best bang for my buck. Which one would you say is the best between the two. Keep in mind that I also have DSL though our cable company so I would like to find out if they provide that also.
