I really loved The Stand, it's my favorite book, and Under the Dome and I'm trying to find a book to read over Christmas break. I'm looking for a book with an epic storyline and a huge cast. I really love how the two books incorporated the large cast and the different viewpoints and the many storylines. That's basically what I'm looking for. I'd rather it not be a teen/young adult book just because they never interest me as much. I really like long books (obviously) so that doesn't matter. Please help!!!

I'm trying to remember this sting and it goes like "beating, my heart is beating" or "breathing, I'm still breathing" i don't remember which. I feel like it's a green day sing but I'm not sure. It's really slow though and without a lot of background music. I really don't know. Please help!

I need to create a project to present to my group all about myself. It's usually taken as something that's a collage or something like that. A poster or something. But I want to stand out. My roommate suggested that I create a life sized paper cut out and make a collage off of that. I think it's a little creepy but it could work if it was just the waist up. I'm not sure. I could also do a powerpoint and add fun stuff like music or video but i'm not sure exactly how the group would like an electronically presented project. The project has few guidelines other than to make it all about me. Any creative ideas?

I've been thinking of setting up a little booth at our local Flea Market over the summer but I'm not sure if it'll do well. It's the largest Flea Market in CT and there are thousands of people there every Sunday. I have most of the equipment already except for ink and stencils. It's $50 to set up and it usually goes until 1 or 2 every sunday outside. Do you think I'd make good money or is it not really worth it?

I'm a high school senior right now and I will be going to college in the fall as a nursing major. I've heard from tons of people that starting as a CNA in a nursing home is the best place to start. I've also heard that most offer the CNA certification training themselves and I can train while I learn, then get certified through them. I haven't checked this with nearby nursing homes yet. Also, would I need to have my high school degree to start the program if it is offered. I'll be getting it in a few months at graduation but I'd really like to start the program now so I can work through the summer. There's basically no way I won't be graduating because my grades are great and everything so that's not an issue. I'm also still only seventeen if that makes a difference. And I live in connecticut. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

I'm helping to organize this huge weekend retreat thing for teens and I'm in charge of opening the whole weekend with the rules. I was thinking I'd make a powerpoint with a song for each rule on each slide that sort of relates to it in a really funny way. Here's the list:

Rules for WTE

1.Be well behaved young people

2.No drugs or alcohol

3. No wandering off-always tell your leader where you are going and when!!

4.No one leaves the building with out permissionyou must see Mrs. Pullen

5. No boys on girls floor and no girls on the boys floor

6. Wear name tags all weekend

7. Participate don't anticipate

Phones,ipods in basket during most of the retreat-only during breaks

My family and I just went on a vacation over Christmas and left our cat in the house with bowls of food and water and two kitty boxes like we do every vacation. It was for a week and we had our neighbor check on her every other day to refill everything.and play with her a bit. When we got back earlier she wouldn't come out. I know she's there because she poked her head out from behind the couch before scampering off. The house is a little cold because we didn't have the heat on high until we got home and it's freezing outside so my guess is she's found a nice warm spot to hide out. She won't come out for food or water or toys. Truthfully, I think she's just mad than we left her so long and she's being a brat because of it. Any ideas for getting her to come out? Thanks!

Can anyone tell me another way to phrase my thesis and/or give me some good search phrases to use when researching this topic. I'm writing the paper about how people will usually choose instant gratification when given the choice between it and a greater, though delayed gratification. For example, if you're asked would you rather have 10 dollars today or fifteen next week most people will choose 10 dollars now.

I'm just wondering because I was watching How I Met Your Mother and I went to replay it for my sister and it said I didn't have Adobe Flash Player installed. Then it wouldn't let me reinstall on Google Chrome and all this stuff but other sites like youtube and hulu and netflix all work so I was wondering if maybe just that site isn't registering it or if youtube and the others use something else.

She keeps opening her mouth and just sits with it open for awhile then closes it again. She breathes kind of heavily when she does it and she's been doing it all day.
