Basically what happened is this psycho starting swinging at me and I was concerned that he was the kind of person who doesn't know when to stop so I put myself on the ground and tried to lessen the damage. I was also drunk at the time. I was covering my head but lost consciousness for what I estimate to be like 5 minutes or so and when I woke up I obviously had a headache in the areas I'd be hit/kicked but there was nothing agonizing. I walked home and spent the next few days in bed rest. Most of the damage was near the left temple(for all I know it was bruising and tenderness). Any guesses as to potential long term consequences?

I have a few supplements, mostly importantly zinc and a sulfur acne medication which have been left in my van sitting in the summer heat. I also lost a few other supplements but I'm not concerned and the question is more general than anything. Does the heat cause the supplements to oxidize and radicalize? What happens if I apply the sulfur acne medication in this condition and is the zinc any good?

How do you walk the line between acceptance and retribution?

I had only driven it about a mile or two when I went into the store. Upon coming back out I noticed a bluish smoke coming through the vents on the top of the hood. Coming back home immediately I popped the hood and saw a mostly white but possibly blue smoke coming from the engine block. After doing my research I've learned that it's likely oil being burned improperly. It wasn't overheating so I can rule out a blown head gasket correct? Besides checking and possibly changing the oil, what steps do I take to ensure my oil is clean burning in the future?

Now if you came in here you probably weren't expecting that I am in fact the younger brother and he is 40 with 3 kids. Anywho, I am currently staying with him for next to nothing(basically I mow his lawn every week which is very large and takes 3.5 hours minimum and help watch his kids from time to time). In my guest room I had at least 10-15 dollars worth of change in my bag and on the dresser. I come home and it's completely gone. I'm not positive he took it, but he was drunk when I got here, and the room I left was locked and shut down, I came home and the fan was on and it was unlocked, which is highly suspicious. Only him or his wife would have. For starters, I owe him more than what was taken. But is there a principal to what has transpired? It boils my blood being swindled in the open like that. Or in the long run am I the swindler who deserves it?

To what extent does one becoming "rusty" determine a permanent loss of a "spark of genius" or aptitude for excelling in matters of mind?

At least 2 million Germans died on their forced evacuation from historically German lands in central Europe. When you realize how likely it was to die of natural causes in warlike conditions, it is no surprise that so many died in WWII. If 2-3 million people can die from being moved forcefully, then it becomes obvious that much of the so-called holocaust was the result of the war with the allies and there is no evidence for the kind of efficiency it would take to purposefully murder 6 million. The holocaust then just becomes what it really is... the obvious result of any modern warfare. Look at the populations of 1941 comparable to 2010: I guarantee any war today would produce millions upon millions of casualties. Far more than in WWII... The high death toll of WWII was the result of modern technology, namely in terms of the speed with which armies moved. If 2 million die just from being marched west through Europe... what happens when an army who has its resources stretched must quickly move populations through a large territory?

I went to a friend's get together, where I hardly knew anyone. I was just hanging out and drinking beer, there were two 17 year old girls who were cute(I'm 21) but I think that they had already you know attached themselves to other people if that makes sense. Anyway, apparently I had upset a few people there because of my course attitude and I was just curious if anyone else has ever gotten a bad vibe from a crowd. They were mostly like high school students, but the question can be more general to parties you've been to overall.

I'm currently on the back end of my third year in college, where I'm studying for a BA in History. Can anyone tell me the best way to get into the beer industry? I know there are different sorts of good entry level jobs, such as being a sale representative or obviously a driver or something... I live in Iowa, but I would not mind traveling if there was ample opportunity. What sort of network do I need to find to make this career happen?

All I know is that I've been smoking and it bores me that the only thing I want to do right now is smoke. It's not that it is such a bad thing, but I do know also that I will need to take a break eventually. Also, has anyone tried to do a diet on marijuana, it seems to me that you would lost more weight...

I haven't gotten laid in around 6 months or so...

Does society really frown upon it?

My brother and his ex broke up about 4 weeks ago, and since then she has been bothering him by remaining in his realm of friends. She still hangs out with a lot of the people he knows, and he feels like she doesn't seem to want to leave his life. She invited me to a hockey game, and I don't really go out much and it sounds like fun so I am going. He says he doesn't mind but that he doesn't want me to talk about him to her at all, which I understand. Two things motivated me to go: I like beer, and she has one of my shirts that he had borrowed from me(double stolen shirt). Now, he's ok with it, but what could her motive possibly be for inviting me over anyone else she knows? It's not just us, also, we're going with some guy that I don't know but surprise my brother does and his girlfriend.
